Sport fishing boat trailers

Offshore sport fishing center console on a multi-axle ABTrailers aluminum trailer

Heavy offshore boats are where stock trailers fall short. We build custom aluminum sport fishing trailers with bunks set to your hull's deadrise and axles placed for your loaded weight, so the boat launches and loads cleanly and tows straight.

Built for salt water

Sport fishing boats live in salt water, and so do their trailers. Aluminum frames, galvanized torsion axles, stainless fasteners and marine disc brakes with stainless pistons keep corrosion off the trailer. Add aluminum wheels, stainless steel brakes and sealed Vault hubs for even less upkeep.

Options anglers choose

Sport fishing boats we've built for include Radon, Force, Grady-White, Pacific Custom, Innovator, Amato and North River boats.

What goes into every ABTrailers build

How a remote custom build works

  1. Tell us about the boat. Year, make and model, length, beam, deadrise and loaded weight (fuel, engines and gear). Our online quote builder walks you through it.
  2. Send a few measurements. If you have a trailer now, a handful of measurements from it (bow eye to tires, coupler size, tongue length) tell us how the boat sits. No trailer? Your boat's specs are enough to start.
  3. We design the trailer to the hull. We choose the weight rating, frame, axles and brakes, and set the bunks to your hull's shape, then send a written quote.
  4. We build it in San Bernardino. Pick it up at our shop, or we arrange delivery and freight, including crating and ocean shipping to Hawaii and Guam.

Your boat never has to come to our shop.

Questions owners ask

What size trailer does my offshore boat need?

We rate the trailer at your boat's loaded weight (with fuel, engines and gear) plus at least 2,000 lb, then choose axles, tires and brakes to match.

Do you build trailers for Radon and Force boats?

Yes. Radon and Force are among the boats we build for most often.

Which brakes are best for a heavy boat?

Electric over hydraulic disc brakes give smooth, proportional braking and are required for a slide tongue. Surge brakes are simpler and need no brake controller. We'll recommend one for your boat.
